Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to know how to pose?

I’ve never modeled before!

Not at all! You will look as amazing as anyone else! When you come into the studio you start getting expert advice and direction. The minute you book I send you plenty of information for getting prepared for you shoot! Don’t be surprised when I hop into the poses to show them off to you (terribly I might add) to show you exactly what to do!

What do I wear!?

This is the most commonly asked question. The answer is simple: Anything that you feel beautiful in.

Pick outfits that are you. Something that will make you feel beautiful. Go as extravagant or simple as you feel comfortable doing. You’ll get an outfit guide, and other helpful tips to prepare.

Where does the photo shoot take place?

I have access to a studio space here in St. Louis. However, if you have any places in mind, we can make them work. Airbnb’s, Hotels, etc. are all amazing options. We could also shoot in your home if that is something you are interested in.

Will you photoshop me?

Sort of…I believe that we are capturing your true beauty, and as such will not make any major changes to who you are. I edit minor corrections, color corrections, skin smoothing, etc. I follow the 2-week rule. If there’s something on your body that won’t be there in 2 weeks: acne, bruises, scratches, razor burn, etc. I will remove those. But your body tells the story of you, and it deserves to be honored and respected by taking photos that reflect who you really are.

How much can I expect to spend?

Most clients spend around $2000 from start to finish. Packages start at $1500, but once you see your images and our print offerings, you’ll be amazed at how hard it is to narrow your selections. We have packages for albums, digitals, wall art, prints, and more.

Are you going to share my pictures?

Not without your permission. My work is my passion, and I love creating experiences that my clients are proud of and excited to show off. But I understand that everyone has different expectations and may not want their images shared. I will not share any of your images on social media, or my website without a signed Model Release form.

Do you photograph men/couples/etc.?

Absolutely. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves to feel good, and that body positivity is something that affects everyone across the board. I work with anyone, men, women, trans, LGBTQIA+, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc.

Couples are also absolutely welcome. Sharing this experience with your special someone can be invigorating, sensual, and a way to add an intimate and incredible experience to your relationship.

Do I have to be nude?

No! You can be as fully clothed or as unclothed as you want. We stay within the comfort level of the person being photographed. We will never ask you to do something you are not comfortable with. It’s completely in your control!

Can I bring someone with me?

Of course. I want you to be comfortable as can be during your experience. Bring a friend along to hype you up, make you laugh, and ease you into the experience. I only ask that they not be too intrusive into the session and that they are respectful of the time and space during the shoot.

Do I have to do a consultation call? I hate talking on the phone.

Yes! I want to take the time to get to know you and make sure that we are a good fit. This call gives you to opportunity to ask any questions you may have. I promise, its not as bad as you think, and it really gives us the chance to jumpstart our relationship and get you excited and prepared for you shoot!

I want to do a session,

but I need to reach my goal weight/change my hair/etc.

The number of inquiries I get with this type of comment is astounding. I get it, as a guy who has always been bigger, I understand being critical of ourselves and our bodies. But I promise you, you look incredible exactly as you are. Every body, and everybody is beautiful, and deserves to be celebrated, and to feel sexy and beautiful. My job is to highlight that in the images we create together.

Is hair and makeup

included?

Not at this time. There are many

good options around the area if you are interested.

Should I get a spray

tan? Should I wax? Should I get my nails done?

I have a prep guide that

answers all these sorts of questions. Once you book, you’ll get that emailed to

you and can see all my tips and tricks!

Do you have a client wardrobe,

or should I bring my own outfits?

As much as I would love to, I

don’t have a client closet just yet. But I can help you make decisions on what

to bring, and what to wear, and you can bring 3-4 outfits with you!

Do you offer payment

plans?

Of course! We can split your

final bill into 6 payments.

How long do sessions last? How many outfits can I wear?

Typically, sessions last

around 2-3 hours. We promise, it goes by super fast. We really like for clients to stay around 4

outfits. A lot of lingerie can take a lot of time to get in and out of. We want

you to get your money’s worth and spend as much time in front of the camera as

possible.

How long will it take for me to get my images back?

Typically, you’ll get a sneak peek within 48-72 hours. Full galleries typically take 3-4 weeks. If you order prints, they are typically ready within 2-3 weeks from our professional print lab. Once they pass my inspection, I will deliver them to you!
